We’re so excited to welcome you to Zanzibar for FuTopia.
To help you make the most of your stay, here are some important tips and logistical details to make your trip smooth, safe, and unforgettable.

Zanzibar offers a wide range of stays from budget-friendly guesthouses to beachside boutique hotels and eco-lodges. Staying near Fumba Town is highly recommended for easy access to the event grounds. Nearby accommodations include:

4. Getting to Zanzibar
Zanzibar is easily accessible via Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Stone Town. Direct international flights and frequent domestic connections from Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, and Kilimanjaro make it convenient.

Getting around Zanzibar is easy. Taxis and ride services are widely available, and local minibuses offer a fun, low-cost way to explore. Shuttles from Stone Town and nearby hotels will also be available details coming soon.

FuTopia takes place in Fumba Town, a safe, walkable coastal community about 30 minutes from Stone Town, known for its creativity and sustainable living.

What to pack? Light clothing, comfy shoes, sun protection, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and some local cash. A light jacket is useful for breezy evenings.

Helpful tips: Get a local SIM for easy navigation, exchange currency at the airport or in town, and dress modestly when visiting villages.
