VIBRANT COMMUNITY | Designed to create a vibrant and diverse community sharing a lush green garden with multiple pools and water features, Moyoni Bay offers a unique sustainable lifestyle embedded in nature. The apartments, allocated on ground or first floor, allow for various individual layouts with one, two or three bedrooms and alternating orientations. The shared garden is characterized by a sequence of pools connected by a water canal. The swings at the shallow pool, the sundeck at the lap-pool and the gazeboos offer various settings for the residents to relax or connect while densely planted green creates privacy between the apartments and the shared garden. SUSTAINABLE IN TIMBER | The Moyoni Bay project is constructed in timber. The successful completion of the Moyoni Homes project has proven that this sustainable building approach is perfectly suitable for Zanzibar. Passive design elements, such as permanent sun-shading and cross ventilation, further support the sustainable character of the buildings limiting the need for air-conditioning and reducing energy consumption. In addition, the thermal benefits of timber have surprised and convinced the new inhabitants.
